STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- Shipment delay
All orders are shipped from Guatemala and processed within 14 days. Typically, you will receive your order within 7-14 business days after the shipment date, which means you will receive your cacao between 2 to 4 weeks from the order. Since we are an artisanal project and rely on a variety of human groups, it happens that orders may take longer, and you will be informed. If you are concerned about timing, email our team prior to ordering and we may give you a sense of time.
- Customs are under the customer’s responsibilities
Customs fees are not included, please be informed about the customs policies of your country before placing your order, especially for Europeans. Cacao Source is not responsible for customs requirements and actions in your country. However, we are happy to support you with our shipment experiences or if we are able to provide the documents required.
- Shipment goods damaged
If there’s any damage to products on delivery, Cacao Source is able to make a complaint to its transporter to ask for compensation. Send pictures to our firstname.lastname@example.org giving details of the goods and damages. Pictures need to be done with the goods inside the box, to show that it arrived damaged on delivery.
Any blocks or products displayed outside the box cannot be the subject of complaint to our transporter and will not be able to get compensation.
Cacao Source does not accept returns or refunds. Cacao Source is not responsible and cannot accept returns based on customs fees being too high or unresponsive to customs requests. Before ordering, check with your country’s customs.
We accept payments through PayPal, locally purchase or a personal agreement on an alternative way of payments if you email email@example.com
