Cacao Euro Shipment

Bringing ceremonial cacao to Europe through regenerative trade

Our Euro Shipment is more than a shipping method, it's a collaborative way of bringing ceremonial cacao from Guatemala to Europe while reducing costs, simplifying customs, and supporting a more thoughtful supply chain.

Instead of sending hundreds of individual international parcels, we gather orders over a defined period and send one collective shipment from Guatemala to Germany. From there, our European logistics partner carefully redistributes each order through DHL directly to your door.

We regularly ship ceremonial cacao throughout Europe, supplying facilitators, retailers, wellness businesses, retreat centers, and communities seeking authentic single-origin cacao from Guatemala. Whether you are located in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, or elsewhere in Europe, we can help you find the most suitable shipping option for your order.

Why choose the Cacao Euro Shipment?

The Euro Shipment offers several benefits for our European community:

  • Lower shipping costs through consolidated transportation.

  • Customs handled by Cacao Source for deliveries within EU countries.

  • Easier ordering without navigating individual import procedures.

Available for European Union countries.

Please note: Deliveries to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other non-EU countries require additional customs procedures and fees. If you're located outside the EU, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether shipping is possible for your destination.

How is the Cacao Euro Shipment different from a regular shipment?

Euro Shipment

The Euro Shipment is a collective shipment.

Orders are gathered during a defined ordering period and then produced together. Once production is complete, all orders travel together from Guatemala to Germany before being redistributed throughout Europe.

For customers within the European Union:

  • Customs clearance is handled by Cacao Source.

  • Shipping costs are generally lower.

  • Delivery follows the collective shipment timeline.

Because this is an international group shipment, flexibility is part of the process. While we carefully coordinate every stage, international logistics and customs may occasionally create unforeseen delays.

Regular International Shipment

Regular shipments are prepared and dispatched individually.

Orders are shipped according to our standard production lead times and leave Guatemala as soon as they are ready.

Please note that customs fees and import procedures remain the responsibility of the customer.

OUR STORE

When does the Euro Shipment happen?

We typically organize 2–3 Euro Shipments each year, depending on:

  • Seed availability

  • Production capacity

  • Community demand

Usually, ordering periods take place around:

  • January/February

  • April

  • July/August

Note that this can change and exact dates are announced through our newsletter and social media.

Shared Care & Responsibility

The Euro Shipment is not simply a logistical operation—it is a collective process that directly impacts the farmers, women's collectives, production team, logistics partners, and customers who make this work possible.

Although the ordering window remains open until the published deadline, we warmly encourage you to place and pay for your order as early as possible. The same applies to customized packaging files, if your order includes them.

Ordering early allows us to:

  • Plan production with greater care and precision.

  • Support our women's collectives with spacious and humane working timelines.

  • Avoid unnecessary production peaks and overworking the hands that peel, grind, and mold each cacao block by hand.

  • Preserve the energetic integrity of cacao as a living medicine through a more balanced production process.

  • Coordinate logistics more smoothly across Guatemala and Europe.

Choosing ethical ceremonial cacao also means choosing relationship, responsibility, and foresight throughout the entire supply chain.

By ordering early, you become an active participant in this culture of care.

The Euro Shipment is currently available for countries within the European Union.

For the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other destinations, please contact us before ordering to discuss shipping possibilities and customs requirements.

Your order is confirmed once payment has been received.

Unfortunately not. Because production and logistics are carefully planned around one collective shipment, we are unable to add orders after the ordering period closes.

Small adjustments may be possible before production begins. Once production has started, changes can no longer be guaranteed.

Customized packaging requires artwork submission before the published packaging deadline. Please send complete files on time and review proofs promptly to avoid delaying production.

Unlike regular shipments, all orders are produced together, transported together, and redistributed together within Europe. This collaborative process creates lower costs and fewer customs complications while requiring a bit more planning and patience.

Yes. Once your order is dispatched from Germany through DHL, you will receive tracking information.

International logistics and customs occasionally experience delays beyond our control. Whenever this happens, we will communicate openly and keep everyone informed.

Please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the shipment, and we'll work with you to find the best solution.
